1. Enable Review in the Dashboard
By default, the Email Deliverability column might be hidden to keep your view clean. You have two ways to see it:
Option A: Use the “Lead Gen” Template
If you are managing domains for outreach, the quickest way is to switch your View Template.
- Click the View dropdown in the top right of the table.
- Select “Lead Gen / Affiliates”.
- This automatically turns on Email Deliverability, Auto-renewal, and Expiry columns.
Option B: Manually Add the Column
If you want to keep your current view but add this metric:
- Click the ”+” (Columns) button at the right end of the table headers.
- Search for “Email Deliverability”.
- Toggle it ON.
2. Analyze Your Domains
Once enabled, you will see a status badge for each domain:
- Good (Green): All checks passed.
- Warning (Yellow): Configuration exists but might be incomplete (e.g., DMARC is set to “none”).
- Critical (Red): Essential records like SPF are missing.
- Not Setup (Gray): No email records found.
View Technical Details
Don’t guess what’s wrong.
- Click on the status badge in the table.
- The Domain Sidebar will open on the right.
- Look for the “Email Deliverability” section.
- Here you will see the exact raw values for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX records, along with specific error messages like “Missing - Add v=spf1 record”.
3. Why This Matters for SEO & Enterprise
You might wonder why a “domain” tool cares about email.
For SEO
Google and other search engines view your domain entity holistically. If your domain is being used to send unauthenticated spam (because you lack SPF/DMARC), your domain’s reputation suffers.
- Trust Signals: A well-configured domain signals to Google that you are a legitimate business operation.
- Traffic Conversion: For Lead Gen sites, if your “Contact Us” auto-reply goes to spam, your organic traffic is worthless.
For Enterprise
Enterprises cannot afford brand impersonation.
- Security: Without DMARC, anyone can modify the “From” address to look like your CEO.
- Deliverability: Corporate firewalls block emails from domains with “Critical” deliverability errors.
